故ヘルムートニュートンにオマージュを捧げるコレクションを発表した、2004年秋冬のヘルムートラング。そのコレクションではウォッシュドのバッファローレザーが用いられたアイテムが多数登場しました。今回掲載するチェスターコートやテーラードジャケット、ピーコートなどがありました。ショウに登場したブロンズカラーのメタリックなレザーアイテムは、このバッファローレザーの表面にメタリック塗装を施したもので、少しづつですが剥がれてきます。今回掲載するチェスターコートはコーティングなしのブラックですね。形はヘルムートラングのスタンダードなチェスターコートです。
HELMUT LANG for 2004AW presented a collection that paid homage to the late Helmut Newton. The collection featured many items in washed buffalo leather. There were chester coats, tailored jackets, pea coats, etc. The bronze-colored metallic leather item that appeared at the show was a metallic coating applied to the surface of this buffalo leather, and it will peel off little by little. The chester coat I’m posting this time is black without coating. The shape is HELMUT LANG’s standard Chester coat.
