2021年の「アーカイブレダックス」でもブラックデニム版が復刻された、2004年秋冬のラフシモンズのスーパーバギーデニムです。復刻版は服地が少し薄手な印象で柔らかく感じましたが、このオリジナルはそれに比べると少し固めの素材でした。また、ウエスト裏にもバンダナ風のライニングがついているものとついていないものがあったり、案外バリエーションのあったモデルです。それにしても、当時TVで放送されたショウの映像やGAP PRESSの写真だといずれのルックも迫力があったのですが、firstVIEWの画像を見ると「これじゃない感」を強く感じてしまいます。同じモデル、同日撮影なのでしょうけれども。
The 2004AW RAF SIMONS super baggy denim, which was resold in the 2021 “ARCHIVE REDUX” black denim version. The material of the resale version felt a little thin and soft, but the material of this original was a little stiffer than that. In addition, there are models with bandana-like lining on the back of the waist, and some without. Even so, the images of the runway show that was broadcast on TV at the time and the GAP PRESS photos were all powerful, but when I saw the firstVIEW images, I felt a strong sense of incongruity. It’s the same model, probably taken on the same day, but it feels strange.
