リックオウエンスの比較的初期の定番モデルです。当時のリックのメンズにおいては、メンズ服の定番をリックのカッティングや素材選びで昇華させたようなアイテムが多く見られました。このM-65型のジャケットも定番的に生産されていたものですが、これは薄手、平織りのコットン素材で軽やかな印象です。
