Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche leather jacket when Tom Ford was creative director. At the time, this item was introduced in a certain Japanese fashion magazine as a “permanent item to choose from spring/summer 2002 items”. Looking back after more than 20 years, it is difficult to say whether this is a permanent item. Compact sizing is also a feature for those days. Surface scratches are the original specification of the product. But the ones that appeared on the runway didn’t hurt so much.

トムフォードがクリエイティブディレクターを務めていた頃のイヴサンローランリヴゴーシュのレザージャケットです。このアイテムは当時、日本の某モード雑誌において「2002年春夏アイテムから選ぶ、パーマネントアイテム」として紹介されていました。20年以上が経って振り返って、これはパーマネントアイテムであるかというとなかなか難しいところです。当時としてはコンパクトなサイジングも特徴ですね。表面の傷は製品の元々の仕様です。でも、ランウェイに登場したものはここまで傷をつけてないですよね。
