My recollection is that it was from RUFFO RESEARCH by A.F. Vandevorst 2000SS. A long time ago, I was able to browse RUFFO RESEARCH’s promotional creatives on the official page of RUFFO, and I checked there. I saw a single riders jacket with similar details… So it could have been some other season, but at least it wasn’t by Raf Simons. I think it’s bad to sell RUFFO RESEARCH, which isn’t Raf Simons’, on the secondary market as one by Raf Simons. If anyone really thinks so, they probably haven’t seen Raf and Veronique’s Ruffo Research show. The men’s line-up is like a “RAF SIMONS regular items made with leather”, so you can tell whether it’s Raf’s or not by the style without looking at the label. If I look at the label, I’ll know for sure…
私の記憶によれば、2000年春夏のA.F. ヴァンデヴォーストによるルッフォリサーチのものだったと思います。昔ルッフォのオフィシャルページでルッフォリサーチのプロモーションクリエイティブなどを閲覧でき、そこで確認しました。同様のディテールを持つシングルのライダースがあったので・・・。というわけで、他のシーズンだったかもしれませんが、少なくともラフシモンズのものでないことは確かです。ラフシモンズのものでないルッフォリサーチを二次流通市場でラフシモンズだと言って売るのはいかがなものかと思っています。仮に本気でそう思っている人がいるのであれば、多分ラフとヴェロニクのルッフォリサーチのショウを観たことがないのでしょうね。メンズは本当に「ラフの定番をレザーで作った」ようなラインナップなのでラフかそうでないかはラベルなどを見なくても作風で分かります。ラベルを見ればより確かになりますが・・・。
